CHIPITS CHEWY MILK CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Ingredients:- 2/3 cup (150 mL) melted butter
- 2 cups (500 mL) lightly packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) hot water
- 2 2/3 cups (650 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon (5 mL) baking powder
- 1 teaspoon (5 mL) baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) salt
- 1 package (270 g) CHIPITS® Milk Chocolate Chips
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In large bowl, beat melted butter, brown sugar, eggs and hot water until smooth.
3. In medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into butter mixture until blended.
4. Stir in milk chocolate chips. Drop from small teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool 1 mintue; remove to wire rack.
Makes 5 dozen cookies.

A fantastic recipe for soft, milk chocolate chip cookies. This is my new favourite go-to recipe for soft cookies and definite a crowd pleaser. The milk chocolate gives this cookie a nice, light chocolate taste.
