HERSHEY'S® DOUBLY CHOCOLATE COOKIES
Ingredients:- 1 cup (250 mL) butter or margarine, softened
- 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons (10 mL) vanilla
- 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup (150 mL) cocoa
- 3/4 teaspoon (4 mL) baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 mL) salt
- 1 package (350 g) CHIPITS® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (2 cups/500 mL)
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla until creamy.
3. In medium bowl, mix together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
4. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or just until set. Cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely.
Makes about 4-1/2 dozen cookies.

Love this recipe!! Have done it so many times! However, this time I changed it slightly, using 3/4 Cup of white sugar and 3/4 Cup of old fashioned dark brown sugar. I also used dark chocolate chipits, white chipits and toffee pieces to total 350g. Absolutely the most delicious fantastical recipe ever! :)

Omg!! Make these cookies, even my mom and best friend who dont like chocolate loved these cookies. They were soo soft and they best part was they stayed soft. they were delicious and im back to make a second batch!
