("Hershey Canada"), we value our consumers' right to privacy and have made it our policy to provide on-line content that requires minimal collection of personal information from our visitors. Send-to-a-Friend: Visitors to some of our pages can send information (such as recipes) electronically by providing the name and e-mail address for the sender and recipient. The personal information you provide about any such recipient cannot be viewed by Hershey Canada, and is used only to enable the sender and recipient to send the information. The e-mail addresses are automatically deleted after the "Send-to-a-Friend" information is sent to the recipient.
Questions: Our visitors may be able to submit comments or ask questions. The only personal information that we collect in these circumstances is the sender's email address. We do not save any personal information associated with comments, and we only save email addresses associated with questions in order to respond to those questions.
Coupons: We may offer coupons by mail to visitors who provide us with their name and mailing address. The information provided is used only to mail the coupons and is deleted within 60 days of the mailing of the coupons.
Email Newsletters: If you are over the age of 13, some of our pages may permit you to subscribe for email newsletters or updates by providing your email address. Any email you receive from Hershey Canada will allow you to change your preference or "unsubscribe" from this informational service at any time.
Other Features: There may be other interactive features available on our Websites which may require some personal information to use the feature. We only use the personal information to provide the feature and delete it within a reasonable period of time after the information is no longer necessary.
Our web server(s) automatically recognize a visitor's IP address/domain name, however, they do not recognize a visitor's email. Hershey Canada uses a visitor's IP address/domain name solely for system administration purposes.
Cookies are small bits of information that a web site transfers to an individual's computer to identify your computer and to provide a record of your visits to a website. Personal information which may be obtained through cookies is used internally by Hershey Canada to enhance your experience on our Websites. The technology used to gather "cookie" information is provided by the Internet browser you use, and stored on your browser. You may set your browser to disable or refuse to accept cookies, although doing so may affect your ability to use certain features of the Website.
Hershey Canada will not transfer, sell or otherwise disclose any of your personal information to any third party without your prior consent or as otherwise permitted by law.

This Privacy Policy is for our consumers who visit our Websites. It does not apply to personal information, which we may collect by means other than over the Internet.
Our Websites may include links to third party web sites, including websites owned and operated by our U.S. affiliates. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies which we recommend you read carefully. We have no control over the personal information practices of such sites and therefore have no responsibility or liability for the manner in which the organizations who own and operate such linked sites may collect, use or disclose and otherwise treat your personal information.
If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will notify users on our home pages so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personal information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner.
